background:

My career in family law began in 2011 when I started working as a paralegal for a sole practitioner in Anchorage, Alaska. As a single parent, I quickly developed a passion for helping others navigate the family court system. After four years, I decided that it was time to pursue my law degree. My focus throughout law school remained on domestic relations matters. After graduating with my J.D. in 2018, I practiced family law in Alaska for two years. During the COVID years, I served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Washington Attorney General’s Office in the Social & Health Services Section. As an AAG, I gained valuable experience representing DCYF (CPS) in child dependency and termination cases. I have been practicing family law in Spokane County since 2023 where my primary focus has been advocating for victims and their children.  I have become well versed in Washington’s domestic violence laws, which has recently changed to recognize coercive control as an act of domestic violence. Regardless of which stage you find yourself in the process, I am here to help!
